COMPARISON
QUOTE...
If
you are getting camparison quotes, you may find that
they vary considerably. One quote of $1500.00 might
include careful pruning according to Approved standards
and performed by a trained, reputable and insured firm.
A quote of $200.00 on the same job might be a quick
butcher job by an uninsured disreputable firm. The important
thing on gathering comparitive quotes is that each firm
estimates the same work.
ESTABLISHED...
Beware
of firms that have no history, background or credibility.
Your best bet is a well-known established firm.

| ASK
FOR REFERENCES...
Ask
past customers about the reliability of the firms involved.
Was there a written agreement? Did they keep their agreement?
Were the workers efficient and careful to avoid damage?
Was the customer satisfied with the work?
RESPONSIBILTY...
Deal
with a firm that carries Workmans Compensation
Insurance and Liability Insurance. This insurance should
cover tree care operations and not merely landscaping.
Insist on being provided with Certificates of Insurance
for Workmans Compensation and Property Liability
Insurance. Just because a Yellow Pages ad states "Fully
Insured" or a business card says "Insured"
does not mean they have insurance. The reputable firm
welcomes the opportunity to demonstrate responsibility.
